About
Welcome to Just-Teaching. My name is Kerry and I am a Primary Teacher who is currently on maternity leave. My first degree in design and my chosen career in education has led me to create this website which is a combination of Free Resources, a regular Blog and a small range of Educational Supplies (which helps to fund this website).
The free resources, which were initially developed for my own classroom, are continually being added to. All the resources are free to download and the majority of them have been created from scratch without the use of clip art. This means these resources are unique and will not be found anywhere else.
I use my blog to highlight newly uploaded resources, review other education based websites and pass on any useful 'hints & tips' which I come across.
The products in the Educational Supplies section have been imported from America and are selected for their suitability for use in all aspects of Primary and Nursery Education throughout the UK.
I hope you enjoy the site and find it useful. If you have any queries about our resources, products, an order you have placed or if you have any thoughts about how we can improve the site then please get in contact.

F.A.Q
Q. Why do I have to register to download a free resource?
A. This allows us to monitor downloads and helps us decide what resources to produce.
Q. At registration I supply my email address, how is this used?
A. We do not pass out your email to third parties. We keep it private but will occasionally email you to tell you about the latest upload and new features. You can unsubscribe to email updates at any time.
Q. Why are the resources free?
A. As a teacher I was continually creating my own resources. Visitors to my classroom kept asking where they could get a copy so I thought I would upload them and let my colleagues download them for free. That was a couple of years ago and I just keeping adding – now almost on a daily basis. I keep them free as it helps my visitor numbers.
Q. There doesn't appear to be a couple of years worth of resources available for download, why is this?
A. In late May of 2008 we drastically changed our website and as such all of our existing resources need to be uploaded again. To keep our users coming back we thought we would upload a mixture of new and existing resources on a regular basis.
Q. Are there any restrictions on how I use the free resources?
A. A few. All work is copyright of Just-Teaching and as such you must attribute the work to Just-Teaching. You are not allowed to use it for commercial purposes and you are not allowed to create derivative works (i.e. copy and adapt). Essentially the resources are distributed under these Creative Commons licence – please click here for full details. Please note that whilst we offer these resources for free we take our copyright VERY seriously and will have no hesitation in taking action should we find evidence of anybody contravening these restrictions.
Q. What format are the resources available?
A. All resources are available as a PDF. You will need a pdf viewer to view the files once downloaded. If you do not already have one you can download Adobes Acrobat Reader at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
Q. Do you have a catalogue of your products?
A. No, this website is our catalogue. With stock quantities continually changing it does not make sense for us to produce a printed catalogue.
Q. Can I buy your products over the phone or by sending a cheque?
A. No, we have tried to accept such payments in the past but it caused so many problems that we will now only accept payments online via PayPal.
Q. Do I have to use PayPal? I would prefer to use Google Checkout or my Credit Card.
A. At present we only accept PayPal payments but you can make Credit Card payments via PayPal without creating an account. In the next iteration of our shopping cart we may include the option to use Google Checkout.
Q. When can I expect delivery of the goods I order and why do you have different delivery options depending my order value?
A. Orders are processed the day they are received and then dispatched the next working day (Monday – Friday). Delivery options vary depending on the total value of your order as each delivery method offers a seperate level of insurance should your order be lost or damaged in the post.
Q. Can I return goods?
A. Yes, you must first inform us by email that you intend to return the goods and we must take receipt of the returned goods within 14 days from the original delivery.
Q. How can I be kept up to date about new blog posts and resource uploads?
A. We have plenty of ways to be kept up to date. You can either subscribe to our front page RSS, our blog RSS or “Follow Us” on Twitter (my personal favourite).
Q. Where do you get your Education News from and how often is it updated?
A. We aggregate our Education News from a number of sources, these include – the BBC, the Guardian and the Telegraph. We update the news once a day but if you think it should be more regular let us know!
Q. How can I get a link to my website on your Web Links page?
A. Email us your website along with a description and we will take a look. If we think you are a worthwhile resource for our users we will add a link. Please note we prefer a reciprocal link, we are under no obligation to add submitted links and we retain the right to remove links at any time.
